  • Third team of elderly care personnel from Indonesia arrives, workforce exceeds 30 people.
2023
  • Trade name changed from Shinoken REIT Investment Corporation to Shinoken Residential REIT.
  • Shinoken Harmony Co., Ltd. standardizes environmentally friendly "ZEH-M" specification.
  • Provided advisory service for investing real estate fund in Australia.
  • Shinoken Asset Management Indonesia (SAMI) Obtained Investment advisory license, first as a Japanese owned company in Indonesia.
  • Shinoken Asset Management Indonesia (SAMI) holds a REIT conference in cooperation and collaboration with Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
  • Shinoken Produce ranked No.1 for 8 consecutive years in the ranking of rental housing builders, for in-house development results.

  • Entering an agreement with an Indonesian university, to resolve the shortage of elderly care workforce in the life care business
  • Shinoken Asset Management obtained approval from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as a discretionary transaction agent, etc. for a domestic real estate fund (REIT)
  • Achieves the Good Design Award for the designers condominium project in Shinjuku, Tokyo (Harmony Residence Shinjuku-Gyoen THE WEST and Hearmony Residence Shinjuku-Gyoen THE EAST)
  • Establishment of "Bacchiri Chintai" in Fukuoka, to further enhance real estate rental brokerage business
  • PT. Shinoken Asset Management Indonesia obtained a real estate fund management license from the Indonesian Financial Services Agency and started a real estate fund business in Indonesia

  • Consolidated net sales exceeds JPY 100 billion
  • Stock acquisition and underwriting of classified stocks lead to All Way MYU Corporation, a real estate rental agency which operates in Fukuoka, joining the corporate group
  • Underwriting of capital increase through third-party allocation for Shindenryoku, a company which develops projects related to sustainable energy, leadings to Shindenryoku becoming an affiliate
  • Establishment of SK Energy Osaka for supplying LP gas to the Kansai area
  • SK Energy begins sales of "Shinoken Electricity" and enters the electricity retail industry
2016
  • Establishment of Shinoken Asset Management, for management of real estate funds.
  • Achieves the Good Design Award for both “BRICK” and “PLATFORM”, key apartment sales products in the "New Standard" series
  • Establishment of SK Energy Sendai for supplying LP gas to the Sendai area
  • Establishment of PT. Shinoken Development Indonesia, with the goal of expansion to the Indonesian market
  • Shinoken Wellness acquires the shares of Apple Care and makes it a wholly-owned subsidiary
2015
  • Consolidated net sales exceeds JPY 50 billion
  • Shinoken Amenity absorbs Amenity Service in a merger
  • Capital and business tie-up signed with Properst, a company which develops and sells real estate in the Tokyo area. Additional stock acquisition of Properst leading to it becoming an equity-method affiliate
  • Friend absorbs Best in a merger
  • Shinoken Wellness absorbs Recross in a merger
  • Friend Limited changes its trade name to “Friend Co., Ltd.” and moves its head office from Tennoji-ku, Osaka to Minato-ku, Tokyo
  • JICC SSI develops “Rental Management Support”, which supplements losses incurred due to the residents dying alone at home, etc
  • Friend receives transfer of business from group home "Friend Takashimadaira" and starts operation
  • With Ogawa Construction as surviving company and SKG Invest and SKG Next as merged companies, Ogawa's shares acquired through absorption merger
  • Shinoken Wellnes acquires the shares of Friend Limited and Best Limited and makes them complete subsidiaries. The company launches into managing group homes for elderly people with dementia in the Osaka area
2014
  • As business expands into the Kansai area, Osaka Office is opened
  • SKG INVEST ASIA (HONG KONG) LIMITED acquires 34% of the shares of Singaporean real estate agency Hecks Realty Pte Ltd, becoming an equity-method affiliate and changing its trade name to “Shinoken & Hecks Pte Ltd”
  • Shinoken Amenity acquires the shares of Mansion Life and makes it a wholly-owned subsidiary
  • Shinoken Amenity acquires the shares of Building Service Kasho and makes it a wholly-owned subsidiary, changing its trade name to Amenity Service
  • JICC SSI develops a new house contents insurance, “Insurance for Residents of Rental Housing”, which includes insurance for costs related to restoring properties whose residents died at home alone, the first small amount and short term insurance for stalker prevention costs, and other special contracts
  • The company becomes the implementing body of “JuLife Takashimadaira”, the third service-provided residence for the elderly in Itabashi, Tokyo, and begins operation
  • General contractor Ogawa Construction, veteran company founded in Meiji year 42 (1909), becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary, leading our group to enter the general contractor business
2013
  • Acquires “JuLife Aquavilla Kashiihama”, the second service-provided residence for the elderly, with a total of 201 residences in Higashi, Fukuoka, and starts operation
  • Selected by Tokyo Stock Exchange as "J-Stock Issue", a top company group on the TSE JASDAQ
  • Establishment of Shinoken Office Service to provide back office services within Shinoken Group
  • Achieves a Good Design Award for providing "rental housing with reliable support for the elderly"
  • Acquisition of 50% of total outstanding stocks for JICC SSI and makes it a subsidiary, entering into small-amount and short-term insurance business
  • The company becomes the implementing body of “JuLife Tokiwadai”, the first service-provided residence for the elderly in Itabashi, Tokyo, and begins management. Also acquires “JuLife Aquavilla Kashiihama”, the second service-provided residence for the elderly, with a total of 201 residences in Higashi, Fukuoka, and starts operation

  • 100% equity capital in SHINOKEN CHINA LIMITED (corrent SKG INVEST ASIA (HONG KONG) LIMITED), making it a wholly-owned subsidiary
2010
  • Marking the 20th anniversary of our foundation
  • Shinoken Facilities acquires the shares of KBM and makes it a wholly-owned subsidiary. The company enters the building maintenance industry
2009
  • To respond to the demand for real estate investment in Japan by Chinese investors, 70% equity capital acquired in Jia sheng you xian gong si (current SKG INVEST ASIA (HONG KONG) LIMITED) in order to make the Shanghai corporation a subsidiary, thereby allowing development of real estate sales business in China
  • Establishment of SK Energy Tokyo for supplying LP gas to the Tokyo area
  • In order to increase group's revenue potential and operational efficiency, Shinoken’s real estate rental management business is divested to become Shinoken Facilities
  • Shinoken Development changes its trade name to Shinoken Facilities
2008
  • Establishment of Shinoken Development (current Shinoken Facilities) is founded with the objective of specialization in the development industry
2007
  • On October 1, company's trade name is changed from Shinoken to Shinoken Group. Through absorption-type company split of Shinoken Group, company switches to holding company system and starts anew as Shinoken Group. Existing work done by Shinoken Inc. is continued by Shinoken Group under new system
  • Establishment of SK Energy Nagoya for supplying LP gas to the Nagoya area
  • Nissho Harmony changes its trade name to "Shinoken Group", and then changes to “Shinoken” on October 1
  • Business expands to China, and a wholly-owned subsidiary, “Shinoken Real Estate Consulting (Shanghai) Limited” is established
2006
  • Business tie-up with Kyushu Leasing Service Expanded buying of land for apartments and improved financial structure
  • As business expands into Sendai area, Sendai Office is opened

  • Consolidated net sales exceeds JPY 10 billion
  • Trade name changed from Shinohara Kensetsu Systems to Shinoken
  • As business expands into Sapporo area, Sapporo Office is opened

  • Business tie-up agreement for non-recourse loan with Tokyo Star Bank, first case in Japan

  • Acquires 100% share of Nissho Harmony, a company which sells studio condominiums in the Tokyo area, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary

  • Listed on JASDAQ (ticker 8909)
  • Start of Tokutoku Club for apartment tenants and various services such as high-speed internet
  • Full-scale deployment of high-rise condominium business in Tokyo area starts

  • Through stock swap, SK Energy becomes wholly-owned subsidiary
